1. What one thing did you do better today?
I replied to all emails that were still on my to-do list. Some have been there since February.

2. Has doing so made you or someone else feel better?
Definitely me as I feel so much calmer and more organised. I might have made someone else’s day by surprising them with a rather late reply to a message they might have already forgotten about.

3. Has it brought any new realisations?
A realisation not so new is that I probably always have at least one thing in my life I am putting off. I do not forget about it, I actually think of it quite often, usually when I already have too much on my mind or right before sleep. However I just let it worry me rather than simply dealing with it straight away which is so stupid. It might be an email for a new project that I am not sure whether I want to take on or something like making an appointment with an optician to get my sight checked. A realisation that is new though – dealing with it doesn’t take nearly as much time as I think it will. I would have definitely saved lots of time and worrying have I dealt with it straight away. Here’s hoping another lesson is learned.
