1. What one thing did you do better today?
I swapped watching series for reading books.

2. Has doing so made you or someone else feel better?
Me, especially my eyes and my state of mind.

3. Has it brought any new realisations?
I have periods of time when I love watching good series, good movies even more so. I could get so into it at one point I had a statistics of watching a movie every two days. I enjoyed it at the time as I just started to get into good scripts and inspiring cinematography however recently I felt it wasn’t best way to spend my time, especially during summer when there is so much you can do during the day and the night is way too short. As my macbook broke down recently, it was easier to skip both series and movies at home (I still go to the cinema) and spend more time on reading. I am currently reading Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown, also re-reading Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, occasional poetry by Mila Kacic and short excerpts of Haruki Murakami’s novels. My mind is calmer, my eyes less tired from the screen.
