Said “thank you” whenever appropriate, even for things that I would otherwise sometimes take for granted.
2. Has doing so made you or someone else feel better?
Me and maybe those I thanked a little bit too.
3. Has it brought any new realisations?
Sometimes being thankful and expressing it comes naturally. Other times, it doesn’t. For me it is most often when I feel nervous or all over the place that saying “thank you” seems unnatural. However when I calm down I usually realise it simply seems so because I am focused too much on myself, my problems, my issues, my worries. So sometimes reminding myself to thank others also makes a shift of attention from myself to others. And yes, it feels good. It feels right. So for today, this is my better act and a reminder for the weekend: share your kindness with the world.
