1. What one thing did you do better today?
Finally took time and went to the pool. Not just dipping my toes and lying on the beach kind of pool time but rather a workout in one of my favourite forms – swimming.
2. Has doing so made you or someone else feel better?
Me + one.
3. Has it brought any new realisations?
I remember my mom telling me I learned to swim under water before the usual way. I am not sure whether that makes me special in any way but to me it left a feeling of having a special connection to and in water. I love swimming and floating. I love the weightless feeling I have while in the water. I love the sound under water. Swimming has also always been one of my favourite ways to work out as I don’t feel tired while doing it so I can skip the constant fighting with my thoughts “Is it good enough? Can I stop? Am I tired already?”. Looking forward to hopefully doing this more often.
