1. What one thing did you do better today?
Gave my skin a rest and wore no whatsoever foundation today.  Also, just hiked on a nearby hill, writing this with a breathtaking view! Thank you Alja Skrt for sharing your amazing hiking ideas.

2. Has doing so made you or someone else feel better?
Me. Me plus one.

3. Has it brought any new realisations?
I am so used to putting on foundation every morning. I have been doing so for … I don’t know, probably five to ten years?! Most of no make up days were so far reserved for staying at home or all day hikes or staying at the beach. I am starting to think it is ridiculous. To cover my face, daily, with a thin layer of something that is supposed to cover any irregularities. And most of all … to make me look prettier? I want to change this norm for myself. I know I have days when wearing no make up would just make me feel bad, insecure and too exposed. But I want to make space to feel free and more natural. Today I still did my eyebrows and put on mascara however taking care of my skin simply with a hydrating serum was amazing. I also realised I highly admire women who don’t wear make up on a daily basis. It gives them a fresh and radiant look. Plus, when they do put on make up it makes a big difference and they can easily achieve a more sophisticated look. Girls, boys, any thoughts on this? Are we ready to see more natural beauty and less “perfect” coverage?
