1. What one thing did you do better today?
Today was about making a step, making a move, symbolically speaking as well as literally. Some of them were all about doing them for the first time. I went for a little getaway by the sea and will be spending a few nights on a sailing boat for the first time. Today I had the privilege and pleasure to meet in person one of my clients I have been working with for years long distance and we discussed an amazing project that is about to come to life. It was probably my first ever foreign client and it felt amazing to finally meet. I also jumped in the water first, possibly also for the first time. I said out loud I was experiencing a moment of happiness. I decided to join my sister in doing a face yoga program, a first too. To top this all, as writing this, I am sitting topless (another for the first time) by the sea, nothing but the sound of waves and some nearby boats, a book of Mila Kacic’s poetry waiting for me with the first poem titled “Awakening” and saying …

“I love to lie in the sun
on my back with my eyes closed
on the grass by the sea.”

2. Has doing so made you or someone else feel better?
I take a deep breath and try to take in all the good that is happening.

3. Has it brought any new realisations?
Today I experienced how good it feels to do something for the first time again. Even if it is a completely random or small thing. When was the last time you did something for the first time? This day will go down as a reminder to keep being an explorer, like a little child when every new thing he or she learns to do, it feels like an accomplishment, calling for an applause. Here’s to making steps, the first ones, to leaning into joy and the unknown.
