1. What one thing did you do better today?
I started this project with a letter to myself and before I finish, I decided to write another one to forever remember and cherish the amazing transformation that happened in between these two letters and over the past 99 days.
2. Has doing so made you or someone else feel better?
The present me.
3. Has it brought any new realisations?
Here it goes, a letter to myself #2 99 days after the first one.
My dear self, you have made me so, so, so proud!! Months ago your mornings were filled with tears for no specific reason, your thoughts with “what ifs” and “should haves” and now they are blooming with trust, self-compassion and so much gratitude. Gratitude foremost for yourself. Thank you for not giving up. For keeping up with the work that brought so much growth – creative and personal. Thank you for showing up every single day, day by day, one better act at a time. Thank you for not giving up when things got hard. Thank you for not giving in when you thought this was all bullshit, that you were just oversharing and not making a difference. Thank you for not judging yourself when things could have been better and for reminding yourself sometimes being OK is the one small better act you need the most. Thank you for believing change happens one step at a time as now it is not about believing anymore, it is about knowing. You proved it to yourself! Starting small, inwards first, big changes followed one by one. Thank you for in the first place making the decision to try to change things for the better. For making your best of it. Thank you for opening up to change. Thank you for making a decision it is all worth it. That you are worth it! My dear self, yes, you are so worthy!! I hope you remember this. I hope you continue to feel things you have never felt before and I hope you remember this moment – how good it feels to feel good and do good and never forget the amazement of what wonders small, better acts make.
